The CHROMA CMYK range delivers exceptional mileage, superior coverage, and razor-sharp dot reproduction, with custom Pantone shades also available.
The 3000 Plus Series is a general-purpose, medium-grade offset ink specifically designed for one-side label printing. Engineered to perform reliably on machines operating below 12,000 imp/hr—including late 1990s generation presses—it is also capable of handling medium to high-speed printing environments up to 12,000 imp/hr. This series delivers exceptional mileage with low ink consumption, featuring a bluish-shade Magenta and a reddish-tone Yellow and Cyan. While it features lower pigmentation and standard features compared to our premium Chroma Std series, the 3000 Plus series still offers good rub resistance, excellent gloss effects, and versatile substrate compatibility.
The SMT and Super Tech Series from Spring Ink are low-cost, low-strength, and low-gloss offset printing inks designed primarily for older generation, slow-speed presses. Serving as an economical solution with good setting characteristics, they are ideal for textbook printing on offset paper and 2/3 number coated or non-coated board. Because they are not recommended for direct application on premium stocks, printing on other coated materials, art paper, or bleach board must be approached with care and requires the addition of Spring Ink’s RRH compound to prevent first impression set-off.
The SMT-Plus Series is an economical process ink line specifically engineered for older-generation, slow-speed printing machines. Offering a low-cost, low-strength profile with a good gloss finish, it is perfectly suited for printing on 2nd and 3rd quality coated and uncoated boards, as well as standard offset paper. Featuring reliable setting characteristics, it provides an affordable everyday solution for high-volume commercial printing.
The Super Tech Series is a highly balanced, value-engineered 4-color process ink line from Spring Inks designed to offer reliable performance at a highly competitive cost. Featuring a medium-setting mechanism, it is the ideal economical choice for printing on medium-grade (2nd and 3rd quality) coated and uncoated boards, as well as textbooks on offset paper. To expand its use to premium coated grades like art paper, art board, or bleached card, it must be paired with Spring Inks RRH Rub Resistance Compound to eliminate first-impression set-off.
Important Application Guide: This economical series is not recommended for direct application on premium coated or bleached boards without additives. For demanding high-pile or ultra-high-speed presses, please utilize our BEST ONE, CHROMA Std, or BEST ONE QSG series.
